Refund policy

Order Cancellation

All orders can be canceled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to change or cancel it, you must contact us on Hello@biltongboytjies.co.za within 15 minutes. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, it can no longer be canceled.

 

Return Shipping

Customers will be responsible for paying return shipping costs as per our shipping policy:

Gauteng: R100 Per White Biltong Boytjies Box.

Rest Of South Africa: R200 Per White Biltong Boytjies Box.

 

 

Refunds Or Exchanges (Non-returnable items)

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food). We will only be able to provide actionable support if the following was followed:

  • Email Hello@biltongboytjies.co.za within 30-minutes of receiving your order.
  • Attach to the email images of the package being received, as well as the product and the issues made visible.
  • The item must be uneaten and the same weight as when received. (Photo's are taken before being dispatched)
  • The package must be able to be sent back in its original packaging.
  • At least One Of The following Issues must have occurred:
    • The product was inedible (raw or too dry) as per Biltong Boytjies discretion;
    • The product weighed less than 10% of the agreed purchasable weight;
    • The product shows visible signs of outdated and/or over-due food such as mould.

If your exchange or refund is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, details for courier collection, as well as instructions on how to pay for the return shipping (R100 or R200 per white Biltong Boytjies Box - if applicable) as per our shipping policy; and balance of the new product (If Applicable). Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Where necessary, one will be charged the weight loss of products if provided back at a smaller weight than when fulfilled. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund or exchange was approved or not.

If approved, you will be refunded on your original payment method within 10-working days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too once processed by us.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
